  1. LOL! Another witty post from the warped and twisted vision of my writer pal! I feel your pain my friend. :) Just keep that spunk and they'll never beat you down!

  3. Nice to see you, Anita. I love google searches in the "images" section. "MAN BEATING HEAD AGAINST WALL" viola...there he was ;)

Just so you know, I haven't determined my gameplan for the weekend yet, but here's what I'm toying with: Jumping off a bridge, E-stalking the agents who rejected me, or drinking heavily. If you don't hear from me in the next few days it's either because I'm dead or behind bars.

  5. How about a giant mosquito made out of tofu, riding on a white horse! I'm sorry rejection got you down...let their rejection fill you with power. Yes. Power! Dunno how this works but working on it myself.

  6. Oh, ladies...how you lift my spirits!

After a lunch hour on the elliptical with an episode of Mad Men to keep me entertained, I'm feeling so much better. I do still plan on drinking heavily, though.

  7. Ugh. Rejections are just awful. But yes, root canals are worse. By a little bit.

Hang in there. Rejections always pave the way to better and better and YES. I know. Not exactly reassuring, but you just have to keep believing in what you're doing. Keep repeating to yourself: it only takes one yes; it only takes one yes; it only takes one yes.

Sending some positive vibes your way...

  8. Carolina,
I'm not sure where you are in the country, but I'm feeling your vibes in San Diego this morning! The sun is shining, the birds are singing their hearts out and I am hopeful. HALLELUJAH!
